Overview

You get some amazing views and get to ride all the hard classics and most of the uphill is on gravel.

Description

Park at the horse stables then go up Clawhammer Road and ride upper upper Black Mountain Trail (#127) to Buckwheat Knob (#24) to Bennett Gap. Then head back up Clawhammer Road to upper upper Black Mountain Trail (#127) to Avery Creek Trail #327.

Then, finally, back up Clawhammer Road to Black Mountain Trail (#127)and ride back to the car using Avery Creek Road.
