Description

This is the primary downhill trail at the main trailhead of the park. It starts beside High Five, an intermediate jump line on the left. B-Line was designed and built to consider the width, geometry, and unique handling characteristics of adaptive mountain bikes.

The upper portion of the trail is friendly to beginners. After a sweeping and flowing start, several other downhill lines are accessed from B-Line. The first intersection is where Ski School forks to the right after the first two major turns. Stay to the left and flow downhill through a sweeping set of turns to the next intersection. No Joke and Jokers Wild both start on the right. Keep left and the trail makes two more sweeping turns before a long left turn where Coin Slot begins midway through the turn going straight and slightly uphill from this point.

Keep turning left, diving down the hill, and riders will have an option to transfer to High Five, on the left, to hit the last two features on that trail. B-Line keeps to the right and another transfer option appears as the end of High Five merges with B-Line. A drop option on the left gives riders a chance to launch into the landing of High Five's final feature.

Riders will quickly approach a sweeping, right hand, banked turn where options appear. If one chooses, you can keep straight out of the right hand turn and shoot up into the Flow Zone Return Climb. However, staying on B-Line in the right hand turn sets up riders for the trails main feature. A large but easily rolled jump is immediately after the turn. Designed specifically on the input of an aMTB test rider, the jump has a launching lip into a generous landing area that immediately turns to the right where riders use the backslope as a berm. The trail gradually descends and slightly curves to the right before a slightly uphill section.

This slight uphill is significant in that it signals the upcoming start of High Rider. aMTB riders should continue straight on High Rider. Other riders can turn hard left where the trail will get very steep and technical after the turn. As the steepness levels out a bit, a berm turning to right is a possible merging spot where riders can transfer into this berm on B-Line from Jekyll & Hyde if they are going downhill.

At the exit of the berm is a jump and the exit of Coin Slot merges in from the right. The trail turns to the left and a brief descent leads to Jekyll & Hyde.
