Overview
Mixed-use trail area, with dedicated mountain bike trails, administered by Willamalane Park and Recreation District. Located east of Springfield, Oregon, off of Highway 126.
Description
From the parking lot, climb up the shared-use
Mossy Maple gravel trail, past
Yew Haw. Continue on
Basalt Rim Trail until you pass a moderate tabletop on your right (crossing
Super Maple). Keep climbing a bit more to get to the top of
Super Maple.
Descending
Super Maple is filled with flowy berms and table-top jumps with what the builder refers to as "infinity landings" (pre-ride before you free-ride this!).
At the bottom, take a left on Weyerhaeuser Road, and before long, you'll get to
Camas Crest (another multi-use gravel path), this is a bit steep, so for a longer more gradual climb, take your first right onto
Lower Meadow Climb. You'll come back onto
Camas Crest for about 0.75 miles, you'll have access to
Basalt Rim on your left, a climb back to session
Super Maple, or
Upper Meadow Climb on to your right.
Cross the gravel path, (you have the option to turn left towards
Super Maple, or), go right back up
Upper Mossy Maple, to descend
Yew Haw.
Yew Haw ends at a crossing with
Mossy Maple, continue across onto
Acer Spades descent. Exit back onto the path near the parking lot.
