The park is in the process of adding new trails and realigning old trails. These are the most current trail alignments.

From the campground, the trail begins with a rocky, rooty climb. Half way up the climb, the trail splits into the loop portion of the trail. Head to the left and continue climbing toward the entrance of the park.

From here, the trail bears to the right, climbing up through some pine trees before reaching the lodge. At this point, the trail continues to wrap around the hill to the right. From here, enjoy one of the biggest and most technical descents in the park leading back down to the campground!
