Pretty start on singletrack followed by some modest to steep climbing to great views at ~10,500. Fast doubletrack down a few miles to another stretch of fun rolling singletrack.

Start near Futurity, an old mining camp, with a short descent then traverse through some scenic meadows. There's a modest climb with a couple of steep sections before you top out with more great views. You can explore some of the doubletrack in the area for a variety of views, including one of the Collegiate Peaks.

Descend on some fast doubletrack to Forest Road/County Road 186 (Bull Gulch) to the intersection of 187. Look for a damaged USFS marker on the left and follow some fun, rolling singletrack on the Cottonwood Creek Cutoff to FR/County 185C. Turn left (south) back to the start.
