Description

The vegetation types seems to cycle through a mix of karri, jarrah and open plains. There is more road riding than along some other legs of the Munda Biddi, including a killer hill into Walpole.

A fantastic art exhibition (Swarbrick Art Loop) showcasing the environmental protests that saved the Walpole forests as well as cultural heritage in the area is along the track and not to be missed.

Quite a few sandy sections to challenge (and crunch) your gears.

The swampy paperbark section of the track near Walpole (which is shared with hikers on the Bibbulmun track) is stunning.
