Description

The Pilot Hill Connector trail starts at the intersection of W Pilot Hill Road (USFS Road 703) and where USFS Road 714 starts, at the cattle guard. Veer left over the cattle guard, and the trail starts immediately on the right.

The trail then ascends through a small aspen grove to a ridge with impressive views east towards Cheyenne. The trail meanders along the ridge in and out of pine forests, before crossing a dry ravine and then climbing to a highpoint after the second stile.

The trail descends through a beautiful forest and then crosses an open meadow, Road 703, and climbs to intersect Trail 12 when crossing out of USFS property.
