Palmer Woods just got longer with the addition of the Waxwing Connector. As with all Connector trails at Palmer Woods Forest Preserve, Waxwing Connector is a two-way trail so keep your eyes open for on-coming traffic as you proceed.

When starting at the Ridgeline Hub this trail is all downhill to the Mid Valley Hub. You get a small rest in the flat section at the midway point. The local trail crew that maintains this trail system has plans to incorporate a pump track into this flat section over the coming seasons.
