Need to Know

Pretty much free of obstacles except for a couple optional features on the south side section through the forest: some rocks and a narrows through some trees.

Description

This loop goes around Quarry lake with windy switchbacks and some elevation change. Since it has almost no obstacles, it is a great trail for gravel bikes. Some of the switchbacks or turns are pretty steep, but they are well bermed, making this a very fun trail. It is also scenic, with sections through the forest on the south and north sides, and great views of the lake in the remainder of the trail, which cuts through the beautiful prairie. Important note here is that on the south side, there are some obstactles, including some rocks and a narrows through some trees. These can be avoided easily, but are something for newer riders to watch out for.
