Lower Hulls Gulch Trail is only open to downhill on odd days so check the date before going out. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Overview

Expect technical rock sections on Lower Hulls Gulch, and some flow on Chickadee Ridge.

Description

Start on Red Fox at the Camel's Back park, turn left on Gold Finch #35 and climb gradually until turning right on Kestrel Trail. Kestrel gets steep while you climb up, then turn left on Crestline. Cruise up Crestline until the Lower Hulls Gulch junction, turn left on Lower Hulls Gulch, open and close the gate and enjoy a fun downhill. There will be one big rock that most walk.

After you are done with the trail, cross 8th Street and ride up Red Fox a tiny bit to Chickadee Ridge Loop. Ride up the short uphill part and enjoy a short, fun, and flowy downhill. When the trail comes to a junction, keep right to go back down to Red Fox, go right on Red Fox, ignore 15th Street Trail on the right and keep right to a short uphill to some fun water bars.

Keep going on Red Fox back to Camel's Back park.
