Need to Know

$12/$40 daily/annual parking fee at the USNWC. Parking is located at the main facility and the trails north of Belmeade can be accessed by taking the Parkway Trail and crossing the road. Enter the Smokey/Bandit trailhead and use Bandit to connect to the Rail and Gravy outer loops.

Description

Gravy is a touch over 3 miles long and features flowy lines and punchy climbs that are a hallmark of the USWNC trail system. Connect to the trail just after the start of Rail on the left by the bridge/creek and pass under the railroad truss. The trail flows counterclockwise and weaves through some very unique sections of forest and old rail staging beds.
