One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.
Description
This a downhill-only, bike-only trail.
Skittles is accessed via
Mounds in the Candyland Zone. As riders reach the high point, they will see the right-handed berm off to the right that is the beginning of Skittles. Immediately following the berm is a drop that gives the initial speed boost for this descent. It is possible to bypass the drop on the right hand side. Hitting the drop will provide the perfect speed for the big tabletops that follow.
As the trail curves to the left, one can get a few more pedal strokes in to make sure there is enough speed to clear a massive step-up jump. A left-handed berm dives downhill with a nice hipped jump coming out of it that sets riders up for another step-up jump. The landing is a right hand turn and riders can land on the inside for the most downslope or land to the outside and ride up into the backslope and use it as a berm.
Either way, this leads to a small catch berm to the left that leads to a gap/table jump. Keeping to the right of the jump is a gap jump and the left hand side is a narrow table that can be rolled if needed. The landing presents a fork in the trail.
Skittles continues to the right and
Sour Skittles goes left. There are more jumps before the large sweeping berm to the left. The trail flattens before it dives into a berm to the right before a few more features lead to the intersection with
Blast Off for continued descent to the bottom of the bluff.
