Need to Know
Be on the lookout for occasional hikers, sometimes with off-leash dogs that want to ride along with you. Tell them to get their own bike!
Description
Be ready for moderate technical challenges, and a few challenging but short climbs along this trail. There are plenty of opportunities to fall off of the trail because you are gawking at the beauty, so just be prepared to stop for pics instead. I am confident this trail will become one of your favorites along the Oregon Coast.
Park in the parking lot on the east side of 101, and start the trail under the bridge. From there, you'll immediately start seeing nice scenery all the way to the campground parking lot. It may be a little challenging, finding your way through the campground, but you'll find the connector trail to continue on.
Enjoy the occasional technical challenge and moderate descents and climbs along the way. As you progress, you'll look forward to turning around and riding the trail in the opposite direction. Make sure to schedule enough time for picture taking, because there are lots of opportunities for that!
There are restrooms at the turnaround point, beyond, which is a short boardwalk with an amazing view. Enjoy the adventure!
