Open year round sunrise to sunset (weather permitting). The park's singletrack trails are often closed following rain. Please visit
sorbawestgeorgia.org/ for trail status before heading out.
Overview
Great route for those looking for a challenging mix of groomed, bermed trails and primitive, technical, hand-built singletrack.
Hocus Pocus is especially difficult. Maybe the area's most coveted MTB Strava segment.
Need to Know
Come prepared to take care of yourself.
Hocus Pocus is in the most remote section of the park and sees limited use.
Description
After a brief flat warm up coming from the main parking lot, riders will get a chance to enjoy the flowy berms of
Mumbo Jumbo, before taking on the challenges (some man-made) of
Voodoo. Pay attention at the creek crossing as the rock garden is particularly difficult.
Voodoo will take riders to
Hocus Pocus, and that's where the really fun begins. Be sure to click on the
Hocus Pocus trail link so you know what you're getting yourself into. It is by far the park's most technically difficult trail. This entire route is just 11 miles, but most riders will tell you it seems a lot longer.
