Description
This is a great loop in the BLM lands near Middleton ID. You'll see a lot of wildlife such as prong horn antelope, mule deer, eagles, hawk kestrels, badgers, coyotes, and many more. Fantastic views, great hill climbs and decents, and many undocumented trail options.
Starting at the cul-de-sac at the end of Goodson Rd, go north on the dirt road behind the house. Cross bridge and go right along canal. Travel east and watch for a wire field gate at ~0.5 miles. Head through the gate, close it behind you, and go north on the doubletrack.
Follow MTBP from here. Watch for eagles, hawks, falcons, curlews, coyotes, deer, antelope, and badgers. Some singletrack sections on cattle trails. Rated intermediate due to distance and climbs.
