Parking is available nearby at the NMSU campus as well as at the very end of Indian Wells road.

Description

This round trip out and back trail is very challenging, with loose rock throughout and steep climbs/descents toward the peak. The initial climb is very gradual with not a lot of sharp turns. Around the 1 1/4, 1 1/2 mile mark starts the steeper section of the trail. Once at the top I would recommend taking a break and enjoying the view before heading back down.
