Description

O'Brien Creek road provides a great, easy-going ride that is close to town while still providing that "out of town" feeling. It is recommended to park at the larger O'Brien creek trailhead and riding up although those looking for an even shorter ride can park at the gate a bit further up. The ride up the drainage is very gradual and provides plenty of time to take in the surroundings.

There actually used to be a small town up the O'Brien creek watershed but it was abandoned due to the overwhelming tick populations that occur here in early spring. With that said, those using this trail in the spring months should keep on moving rather than stopping to take in the views to avoid being swarmed by the ticks.
