Description

The uphill side of the trail begins at the junction with the John Henry trail and the old doubletrack trail that continues up to the Lombard trail (the doubletrack is called Upper Blue View). Since this trail is relatively steep, loose, and rutted, it is recommended to ride this trail as a downhill-only.

The trail goes in a relatively straight line down the side of the hill, until it reconnects at a junction with the Mahogany and Overlook trails. Much of the trail has fairly deep erosion ruts, which are often filled with rocks, making for a fast yet bumpy ride. The trail is also fairly narrow, so caution should be taken.
