Overview

This loop is the shortest route to access the new Rutabaga Ride downhill-only trail.

Description

At 2.5 miles and a 650' climb on Bear Creek Trail after the rock wall and all the good tricky bits, take a left on the highly anticipated one-way, MTB-only Rutabaga.

This roller coaster ride with whoops, berms, jumps with good landings and short and sweet downhill rock gardens all in 3.5 miles packs a swift punch.

What goes down must come up with a small, non-technical 200' climb with an eagle eye view on the parking lot followed by a flowy chicane downhill finishing segment all the way to the gate. How many laps can you do in a day?

Snow packed all along the river to the real trailhead. Trail was in ok shape, icy in the valleys, likely unrideable after this week's coming snow. 6.9mi — 1h 25m
