The Skyridge trail begins at the parking lot on Jenkins Ranch Road and ends at the Powerline Trail before the water tanks. Skyridge trail also provides access to the steeper Skyline Trail.

From the parking lot, the Skyridge trail initially parallels the road on a gentle incline. Soon the pitch increases and switchbacks up the hill. At the trail junction, stay to the right to follow the Skyridge trail across the hillside. The grade eases off for the remainder until Skyridge ends at the Powerline Trail.
