Description
Trevor's Trail ascends directly up each side of the hill from the Trout Hatchery and Golf Links Rd, intersecting Woodcutters trail at the 'Main Hill' trailhead. Like any fire road, it goes straight up the hill without a forgiving break, making it a quicker but gruelling climb to the top. The climb from the Trout Hatchery is the kinder side of the hill, with a gentle gradient sandwiched between two steeper sections and some spectacular scenery. However, for those wishing to quickly lap
Cool Running Downhill or
Relentless Blue Downhill, which terminate on this trail, the Golf Links Rd climb may be the best option, if not the steepest. Be prepared to hike a bike.
Local Tip: There are some stunning vistas on this side of the 'Main Hill', both of the Karri forest and surrounding farmland. Hikers may enjoy linking Trevor's Trail with Woodcutters in either direction, using the Bibbulmun Track or Return Trail to link back to the pool.
