Description
This trail is the most primitive trail in the area, which is what makes it the most fun section of trail nearby. The sections of trail trodden by mountain bikers are super fun. As long as you don't get lost on an unauthorized UTV trail and end up pedaling through sand you'll really enjoy yourself.
Starting from the parking lot at FR 50 you'll immediately drop into a fun doubletrack section. Keep your speed up through here. Eventually, you'll come to a sharp right and a steep section followed by a left. There are trail signs here to help guide you. Crush a fun doubletrack section until you come to an unauthorized UTV trail. Don't get lost in The Maze! This is where the trail turns singletrack. Continue straight for the best section of Ross Draw. Hitting this in either direction is really fun.
The trail will eventually pop you out at the intersection with Section Line Trail. Going right will take you to the Ross Draw Parking lot on FR 51. Going left will take you on Section Line Trail back to FR 50 with options to turn right onto The Maze Trail.
If you want to lap Ross Draw Trail a few times use Section Line Trail to climb back up to FR 50. Take a left at FR 50 and you'll be right at the Ross Draw TrailHead parking lot on FR50.
