If traveling south to north on the Sac & Fox multiuse trail, continue straight onto the singletrack instead of crossing the trail bridge just after the Mt. Vernon Rd. underpass. If traveling north to south on the Sac & Fox multiuse trail, exit the trail on to Rosedale Rd. southbound, cross the red iron bridge and enter the singletrack shortly after on the left side of the road; beware of motor vehicles.

Need to Know

Easily by-passable adventurous section of the LAMBA Sac & Fox Singletrack .. eventually this mt. biking experience will connect Marion (Wanatee) to downtown Cedar Rapids (Trashmore) where both areas have plenty of places to eat, drink, and sleep.

Description

Seldom visited portion of park property on the west side of Indian Creek, the Birch segment provides a more removed user experience than the previous sections of the #SacFoxSingletrack, with terrain lending towards more challenging navigation, well within the limits of a black (more difficult) singletrack.
