Description

The end of this trail is one of the best descents around Truckee - as an out and back or part of a loop, this is a must do section of trail in the region. Fast, off camber roots, clean corners, long straight aways. Good classic Tahoe downcountry.

In its entirety, this trail stretches from Warren lake all the way to the intersection of the DLRT near summit lake. The section of this trail down to Warren lake and back out are really not recommended as they are steep and rocky, but if the lake is your goal for fly fishing or visiting, then by all means enjoy it!

The middle of this trail is a rollicking romp through wildflower meadows and is the quintessential wildflower high country ride in Tahoe.
