Description

Although this trail is not as popular as Elbert Creek, Big Lick is a great trail if you want to see the Colorado backcountry. This fast singletrack trail will take you through aspen groves, over rocks, and the occasional root garden. If you are looking for a trail that you can carry momentum from top to bottom, this trail is not for you. There is a traverse in the middle third section that takes you along a ridge line. Use this opportunity to take in views of the drainage below and the beautiful landscape.
