Scenic, fun trail overlooking St George, with a few moderately technical features. Some sections not well marked.

Description

Start at the Pioneer Hills Trail trailhead, but when you get to the gravel, turn right instead of left. There will be a marker about 100yds after you turn, on the left side of the gravel for this trail. Mostly, the trail is obvious and well marked, but once you get to the slickrock section, it's pretty hard to follow. Stay right-ish, and you'll pick up the trail again.

Once you intersect the T-Bone Trail, you can turn left and make a loop back on Pioneer Hills Trail, or cross and continue out and back to the end of this trail (it dead-ends at a fence). There are many, many unsanctioned trails in this area, but try to stay on the main one.

Pioneer Rim: Top of "The Narrows" feature. This is part of the slickrock section where the trail is hard to follow, but this feature is a good marker, as the trail goes just north of it.
