The trail starts as a relatively flat singletrack and soon turns into a doubletrack climb. The climb is initially paved and then turns into sections of pavers/cobblestone separated by sections of silt/gravel. The peak of the climb is at a left/right intersection, go right to continue on La Valle dell'Inferno loop. The initial descent is on doubletrack but turns into singletrack at the shack. Sections of the singletrack can have rock chunks, loose silt, and tight vegetation. There are a couple technical rock descents scattered on the trail.
