Description

Starting in the little town of Ansted this rail trail crosses Mill Creek on a trestle then runs along the creek down to the New River. Along the way you'll pass old coal mine sites and a beautiful waterfall on Mill Creek. Steeper than many regional rail trails, this one may be a little tough on beginners on the climb back up to Ansted.
