Description

Overview:
Dig It is a wonderfully built trail atop Grafton Mesa, featuring the iconic "dragon's spine" - a skinny sandstone line to kick things off. This trail has one amazing feature after another on a down-sloped slickrock mesa trail.

Getting There:
Start by parking at the top of Grafton Road in the first obvious pullout. Follow a short connector trail north out of the parking lot into Undisclosed, and quickly into Dig It. Alternatively, you can start Dig It by riding down the road to a thin singletrack trail on your right.

Description:
Once on the trail, cross the sandstone spine or ride around it, then continue through flat corners and obvious singletrack to a sandstone slab. Follow the trail up and left to the bottom of a very steep sandy hill. From there, hike your bike up a 5-minute hill to a small summit with a little shade. Then the fun begins as the trail trends downhill.

Start with sandy, loose terrain, navigating through rocks and a 5-foot-tall drop. Whip around the corner and take a left over a unique wall ride into more loose terrain. Jump onto the slickrock slab and follow the blue dots down Dig It until taking a left at the intersection of Reach Around.

Follow more blue dots into a well-built singletrack trail, following it until it hits Grafton Road. If you just have one car at the top, you can climb back to the parking area via the road. If you have a shuttle set at the bottom, you can roll right on into Grafton Mesa Downhill and continue the fun.
