Overview

This 7.6-mile loop is a fantastic cross-country ride that showcases some of the best trails in the Three Peaks system. Expect intermediate-level riding, with large granite rock slabs that you'll navigate through, interspersed with beautiful singletrack sections.

Need to Know

This trail holds up really well after the rain and is a good option if the other trails around cedar city are too muddy.

Description

Start by parking at the Three Peaks Trailhead and pedal north out of the parking lot onto the practice loop. Keep a look out for fun wood features to session as you work your way to Twilight Zone.

Take a quick left onto Twilight Zone where the fun begins. Navigate through singletrack and some of the hardest granite features the loop has to offer. The trail crosses the road a few times, but is generally easy to navigate as it's well defined with blue markings that guide you across the granite slabs.

Once finishing Twilight Zone, take a right onto Petrified Whales, a short trail that takes you onto the Three Peaks Loop. Take a right, following this north into one of my favorite sections the loop has to offer: Lost World. It's a good mix of singletrack and rock features before reaching the practice loop, which offers some gentle flow to finish off your ride.
