Overview
These are the premiere trails in Lethbridge, and it is easy to ride as many or as few as you want using this route as a guideline. You can also make it as easy or difficult as you prefer (within reason).
Need to Know
Keep in mind the College owns the parking lot we recommend parking in, and you may be ticketed if you park there illegally during school time. Look at the trail descriptions of each before riding and make sure it's within your limits.
Description
Starting at the parking lot behind the college (only free during summer months, otherwise the Tudor neighborhood might be a better park up), and drop in on
Stout Trail; a good warmup with very few technical sections that can be taken slow or blasted through. Then, you climb up the other side of the valley to the ridge where all the best trails are, and from here you can make decisions on what you like to ride.
Easton's Trail is a classic with some recently reworked berms and some tech at the bottom. To climb back up from here, you can either choose
Up and Over for quick but very steep which will guide you to
Love Bump, or you can climb
Violet Tendency or even
Covid 19 for longer more mellow climbs. For a challenging trail,
Black Mamba can be taken at the far end of this stretch of draws. Again, you can ride
Along the Riverside and decide your climb up. Once you're good and tired, drop back down into the interior valley via the tail end of
Up and Over and climb out using
K2 . Follow the limestone path back to the parking lot.
