Need to Know

If parking at Piedra Blanca you'll need a parking pass (bought at ranger station in Ojai or Wheeler Gorge). If parking on highway, then no pass needed. Bathrooms are located at Piedra Blanca.

Description

Middle Sespe trail is a long-forgotten connector spanning from Hwy 33 to Piedra Blanca. It is bike legal thanks to existing just outside the wilderness boundary, allowing for complete singletrack and dirt loops to be done in the Rose Valley region. This trail can be ridden as an out and back for a 15-mile, 3000-foot ride on its own, and is fun in both directions. A fun fact is that this trail is built on the remains of an old wagon road from the 1800s.
