This stretch of the Colorado Trail is open to motorized travel

Description

As mentioned, this stretch of the Colorado Trail is open to motorized traffic. This two-mile bypass skirts around a section of nonmotorized singletrack, following a rough doubletrack road. There are a few steep pitches on this road, but most of it is fairly easy to pedal.

This motorized bypass is especially useful if you're riding an ebike in the area. If you're trying to loop the Tank Seven Creek Trail #480 , this motorized bypass creates an entirely bike-legal loop route with a fantastic singletrack finish. Of course, you could also be connecting any number of epic routes in this zone.
