Dogs Off-leash
Overview
"The Knob" is considered the most unusual technical singletrack in northeastern Ohio. It's owned and maintained by a local non-profit. Small painted signs give indication about what to expect around the next turn, with names like Rock Tunnel, Fern Gully, Oh Sh#!, the Cradle, Friar Bryan's Forest, Ant City ...well, you get the idea. It has a "pick your adventure" feel, with lots of optional lines and features.
Description
The trail system is about 30 miles southwest of Akron, 50 miles south of Cleveland and 90 miles north of Columbus. The venue has hosted a full mountain bike race schedule, including night races, 24 hour races, Xterra trail run races and adventure races. It's creative and fun until you fall down, and you'll fall down. It may be over one of the dozen log bridges, or on your way down to the cradle bridge or over the suspension bridge.
Just follow the trail and read the signs, and have fun!
