Overview

This loop provides a perfect tour of Signal Peak trail system's newest and buffest trails: Duane's World , South Rim , and Sunny D (Southern Cross) .

Need to Know

No bikes Jan 1 - Apr 30, and no use before 10am May 1 - May 15
No motorized use Jan 1 - May 15

Description

This loop is recommended clockwise, but counter-clockwise would be fun too. Begin at the parking and trailhead area at the intersection of Duane's World and Chicken Wing. Climb the gentle contours for approximately 3 miles and 700' of vertical gain.

At the intersection of South Rim , stay right and continue climbing a little farther. The descent begins shortly after. At mile 6, stay right, turning onto Sunny D (Southern Cross). Descend the rolling, playful buff singletrack all the way to the Contour Trail. Take Contour Trail all the way back to the Signal Peak road you parked on. There is about 1/8 mile gentle climb back up the road to the trailhead.
