Snow will usually melt out 3rd week of June.
Overview
One of the longer climbs and descents in the valley. This is a great 2-3 hour ride.
Description
Park at the Lower Creekside TH. If the lot is full, you can head back down 73 and park at the rodeo lot, then ride
Givelo Trail back up to the normal start of the loop.
Ride this loop counter clockwise starting with
Northwest Passage, a flowy flat trail with lots of rollers. This is a heavily traveled trail, especially on the weekends, so make sure to keep your eyes up and be respectful to other users.
Once you get to CR50, head west and ride towards the bottom of
Tipperary. This will take roughly 20 mins on the road. Start up Tipp and enjoy some beautiful old growth forest and meadows. Climb the narrow trail crossing the creek a couple of times.
After topping out, take the descent on
Spruce Creek Trail. This is a fast doubletrack with some loose rock and gravel on it. As you near the bottom, get ready to cross the road and head up CR725 towards the top of
Iko Trail.
Descentd
Iko to Elk Creek Road and take a left towards the large parking lot. Here you'll head up and over
Chainsaw, then back towards the Lower
Creekside Trail.
