Overview

This route combines all of the best descents in Winter Park: Lower Cherokee, Eye to Eye, Take D'Leap, and Razzmatazz. Expect a mix of everything, some flow, some tech, some air time, and just a lot of fun.

Description

Starting from near Copper Creek Square, head up Vasquez Road, passing over the tracks until the stop sign at Arapahoe Road. Take a left and ride up Arapahoe until it turns to dirt (Little Vasquez Rd). Ride .25 mile and take a left onto Ice Hill over to Serenity.

Head north on Serenity until Tunnel Hill Trail. Take a right up Tunnel Hill trail. It will pop you out onto Tunnel Hill Road. Climb the road and take a right onto FS-152 to the top of Lower Cherokee. Rip down Cherokee (watch out for people coming up it) and take a left back on to Ice Hill.

Climb back up and over to Little Vasquez Rd and take a left climbing up the road. Take a left onto FS-152 (from the other side) and climb to the mid point of Eye to Eye. Descend Eye to Eye and take a left at the bottom.

Head back to Little Vasquez Rd and cross it this time onto Blue Sky, continuing for about 80 ft over the bridge, then take a right on Twin Bridges. Ride to the other side of Vasquez Creek and to the road.

Take a left again and pedal a few miles up the road to the bottom of Take D' Leap. Climb and descend Take D' Leap then make a left onto D4.

Climb D4 all the way to the road and take a right to head to D2 Green. Head down D2 and take a right on WTB Trail riding downhill until Akima's Way.

Take Akima's Way for a couple hundred feet and then a left on Razzmatazz (formerly "Howler"). Head down Leland Creek Trail and pop out back in town. Make your way back over to Cooper Creek Square.

This trail is named 'Razzmatazz' in honor of Grand County Search and Rescue Dog 'Taz,' who passed away December 2018. You forever left a paw print on our hearts!
