Overview

Lower Cherokee is one of the best flow trails in Grand County. Great berms and some fun rollers make this a must-do loop.

Need to Know

Snow usually melts out mid June. Park at the Little Vasquez Trailhead at the end of Arapahoe Rd. You can also park at Cooper Creek Square and ride up Vasquez Road to get here.

Description

From Little Vasquez Rd. climb Ice Hill and Serenity to Tunnel Hill Trail, then traverse on Tunnel Hill Road to the top of the trail. Enjoy a fast and flowy downhill with some awesome side hits and rollers. Lower Cherokee is a Winter Park Classic. This is recommended as a downhill trail, however, be careful of people hiking and riding up the trail. It is open to both.
