Need to Know

Go to the Grist Mill at Babcock State Park. From there, you cross the bridge and go up the paved road to the first parking lot. The trailhead is on the other side of the switchback from the parking area.

Description

The first climb right out of the parking lot is a steep one, but once you get past that the rest is much easier grades (but not flat). There are some tight areas where brush grows right up to the edge and even restricts sight lines a bit, but overall there is wide track, plenty of sight distance and no exposure. It is a good beginner friendly trail. There is elevation which will challenge fitness but allows someone with less bike handling skills to still enjoy the experience.
