Description

Follow the painted trail markers along mostly flat terrain until you get in between two large sandstone hills. The trail will split, keep right to stay on the main trail or go left for the alt line. Descend through a short steep rock roll. Continue along the trail and enjoy the views. About halfway through there will be a very steep and difficult uphill section. Continue past a sandstone spire to stay on the main trail or go left for an alt line around the spire. Follow the trail until it ascends back onto the mesa.
