Overview

The grind up Wire Trail #78 will challenge you but the views and high alpine riding are all worth it once you reach the Bond Lake Trail #21 which presents yet another set of rowdy, rocky and technical downhill to complete the loop.

Description

Drive past Swan Lake on Hwy 83 and park in the lower Bond Lake parking lot.
Begin riding up South Lost Road (FS 680) for a couple miles until taking a left on NFDR 9507 to the Wire Trail #78 trailhead.
Climb the Wire Trail 6 miles until you reach the Alpine Trail #7.
Ride North 3 miles on the Alpine #7 Trail until you reach the Bond Lake Trail #21.
Descend past Trinkus Lake, Bond Lake and down Bond Creek all the way back to your car.
