Great ride for wildflower viewing in the spring and summer!

This is a good intermediate ride close to town. From the parking lot, you'll climb a bunch of switchbacks right out of the gate. These are mostly pretty gradual so fairly easy climbing. You'll get to an initial viewpoint around 2 miles in. From there, keep climbing the trail up and up as you gradually make your way to the top, where you'll get a big clearing and a great view of the Bridgers and Crazies. Turn around and rip back down the way you came - lots of fast sections. The upper part of the trail has some rougher and rockier parts, but generally the trail is pretty smooth and intermediate friendly.

This is a good ride to get some of the awesome views of the Bangtail Divide trail on a shorter ride.
