This is probably the most difficult and challenging descent from the Alpine Trail #7. It will leave you equally begging for it to never end while at the same time asking that it will be over soon as it throws challenge after technical challenge at you.

The Columbia Mountain junction: take a left to go down the frontside, take a right to head either to the peak (straight), or another immediate right (see that post) on Trail #51 to head down the backside.
