Description
A mainly level and easy pedal between
Downtown and
Big Ring trails, and also connecting to the Pipeline, Flow,
Boomerang and
Paper Route trails - allowing you to link a series of alternative trails together for a longer route down the mountain.
This is a two-way trail, and in the direction shown, is signposted from
Downtown, where it then passes under a bridge which is part of the Pipeline jump-line trail (and a good place to watch those riding the wooden jumps on this portion of Pipeline). Gopher trail then winds through the trees with little elevation gain, and offers access to the lower part of
Boomerang, before joining the start of
Big Ring trail near the gazebo on
Downtown trail.
Ultimately for novice riders wanting to take the next step from following
Downtown all the way into the village, taking Gopher trail and then
Big Ring offers a nice and slightly more technical alternative route, while remaining 'green'/easy - recommended!
