Description

This loose, sandy doubletrack connects the Thompson Park Trail System with Herman Gulch Road. It is descended as part of the Butte 100 Mountain Bike Race every year in July, which then takes the roads around to Bear Gulch and eventually joins up with the CDT. Unless you are taking a similar route there is little reason to use this trail, as the singletrack of Thompson Park is much more pleasant.
