This is one of two trails that connect the Maud-S Parking Lot with the Old Railway and the Maud-S Loop. Both trails pass through open grassland without trees. This is the easier of the two access trails as it is less steep and has large curvy switchbacks. This trail can get quite dry and "marbley" in the summertime, so watch your speed and tire traction on the descent, and please stay on the trail and not cut any corners.

The Maud-S Parking Lot is very close to the Continental Drive Exit of I-90. Exit to the east and head left on Saddle Rock Road and the Parking Lot is about a quarter mile on the right.
