Montana Tech Open Space Park is a non-motorized multi-use trail system. There are two main Parking Areas, one at the top (North) of the park on Orofino Gulch Rd, and one at the Bottom (South) of the park at the end of W Park St. There are no facilities such as bathrooms or water available at the Park.

Description

Old Trail is one of the less "official" trails at Montana Tech, as it seems to be a hybrid of several older trails and doubletrack. The upper (northern) third of the trail provides a steep rocky "downhill primary" section that feels like you are riding off the main trails. South of the Neversweat junction the trail is more mellow and traverses across the slope before heading down a bumpy and grassy slope past the apartment block to the end of Park St.
