Description

One of the best singletracks in the Pipestone area, especially since it is technical, but not "chewed out" by dirt bikes. The trail climbs up and over a hill, starting and finishing at roughly the same elevation. Looking at the elevation profile and how it's steeper on the eastern side, you may think that would be the best way to come down, but you'd be wrong. The eastern side, although steeper, is smoother and less technical and although it might make you huff and puff a bit more, it is the preferred ascent. The western side in contrast has a burly and technical terrain with big rocks.

"Easter Lily" is the name of the old mine on the hill just to the south of the Ringing Rocks.

Trail is best accessed from the doubletrack trail BLM #3. A short fun loop can be made with Washout trail.
