One of the better bang for your buck trails in the area!

Start the climb up Pass Creek Trail (moderate climb with roots, rocks, and decent grade). Top out on Pass Creek and head up further on Engineer Mountain Trail. Eventually you split off onto Coal Creek and climb past the start to the descent of Coal Creek. This is where you'll start Deer Creek Trail. Beautiful views and a great downhill. The top is a little more flowy and higher speed. Some mixed in chunk and great turns. Fun cruising through some brush on the upper section. By the bottom, the grade gets a bit steeper and the rocks get more abundant. Some tough corners sprinkled in. The bottom is one of the better rock tech sections to ride in the area!
