Need to Know

To start at North end, you can park at Hoover Met's Multi Purpose field parking lot, off Buccaneer Dr, then ride on the street to the start of the trail. To start at South end, park on the street by the trail start.

Description

Accessible from a neighborhood street on either end. North end starts at the stop sign where pedestrian walkway ends. South end is marked by a gravel trail and has small trail marker painted red, then passes a residence before going into woods. Take the scenic route on singletrack flowy trails through natural preserved areas by Cahaba River. Most of the trail is under tree canopy and is shaded.
